Sick, sick, sick!

Today the snow is falling and I just want to curl up on the couch with hot chocolate and a good book wrapped under a warm blanket.  But I've got things to do!  I should have ridden my bike today, but I've been so sick.  It frustrates me when I have physical limitations that hold me back.  It's frustrating when my body wont perform as I want it to, or my mind just wont let me do what I know I should do!  However, the one thing I can control is what I put in my mouth.  And I have done that very well even though I've been sick.  I've lost weight and am getting closer to loosing the 16 pounds I've been trying to loose.  I have 8 more pounds to go.  It's so much harder to loose that last little bit.  But I'm getting there slowly but surly.

Sigh of relief

Finally the holiday's are over!  No more treats everywhere we look.  I did pretty well.  Ended the holiday season still under my goal weight, although I would really like to be about 10 pounds less than what I am.  I'll get there.  Hopefully by summer.  :)  I think that's the key though.  Not looking back, but looking forward.  And this could be applied to many areas in my life.  Today at my Weight Watchers meeting our group lost over 92 pounds!  Wow that is awesome.  It's so encouraging and motivating to be a part of a group that is all working toward the same goal.  To loose weight and get healthy.
